Our machine-learning technology is generally used to understand the behavior of individual, anonymous web visitors. Among the behaviors recognized, we can identify exactly what assistance shoppers need, in real-time, to complete their journeys. From all of the data that we’ve processed over the last six years, there’s always been one clear outlier. One particular online shopper who buys more, and asks for less help, than anyone else on the planet.
Although we don’t store any personal data we, therefore, have no way to confirm our suspicions…but we are fairly confident that this man is Santa Claus. It’s the only possible explanation.
We thought that it would be a useful exercise to examine the state of mind of the world’s most prolific online shopper.
The results confirm the general bias towards Santa’s generosity. All good kids (young and old) are likely to get socks, sweets or something even better this year. But just a word for the wise; if you’ve been bad this year, he’s been spending a lot of time filling his basket on online coal stores.
